from Pawan Lingras date Oct 14, 2007 8:36 PM subject CS Huskies: Team of the decade mailed-by cs.smu.ca CS Huskies: Champions of Atlantic Canada. First among 22 teams comprising of 65 of the Atlantic Canada's finest programmers from 11 Universities. This is the tenth year since Atlantic Canada joined the international programming circuit. CS Huskies are the team of this first decade. Five championships (1999,2000,2002,2003,2007) Four runner-ups (2001,2004,2005,2006) One third place finish (1998) Regional finalist for ten straight years. First World finalist (March 2002, Hawaii). There is no stopping Harry McCleave now that Chris Adams has found his footing, with rookie Evan Lowry helping and learning. They were the first to solve a problem at 11 minute mark and never looked back solving six problems. Fantasies in coach's lounge about how other teams could solve three problems in the remaining time to beat CS Huskies, eventually gave way to discussion on who will finish second. .... "CS Huskies, too" also did very well solving two problems and finishing in the top half. CS Huskies alumni Blair Doyle again emphasized the mentoring nature of the program by helping with training. Congratulations to: CS Huskies: Harry McCleave, Chris Adams, Evan Lowry CS Huskies, too: Daniel Andrews, Luke Mannell and Jonathan Kenney Thanks all .... --Pawan--
