Use of Brightspace

Brightspace is a course delivery system that is now the major "point of entry" for virtually all courses at Saint Mary's University. We will use Brightspace mainly to contain the recordings of our live sessions, for making the marks you receive in the course available on-line via its gradebook feature, and for any online tests and exams. It has other facilities which we may also utilize if there is a need or a demand for them. But the "legacy" website for the course (where you are reading this page) is the main source of information related to the course.

To access Brightspace you need to go to SMUport link on the SMU home page, log in with your "s-number", and click on the "My Courses" link. This should take you to a page listing the courses you are taking, and then you simply click on the link for this course.
