In order to help link various rough set research
groups in India and enable interaction with
international rough set community, the International
Rough Set Society (IRSS) is sponsoring Rough Set Year
in India in 2009. The year will consist of a variety
of events that are distributed through the year, as
well in different parts of India, including:
-
International Workshop on
"Rough Sets, Fuzzy Sets and Soft Computing:
Theory and Applications".
July 7-8, 2009
-
Report of the National Conference on Computational Mathematics and
Soft Computing held on the 24th and 25th of July 2009.
Organised by the Departments of Mathematics and Computer Science
Women’s Christian College, Chennai
-
International
Conference on Rough sets, Fuzzy sets and Soft
Computing, Tripura University, Agaratala, India.
November 5-7, 2009.
-
Special
sessions in the Fourth Indian International
Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Tumkur (near
Bangalore), India. December 16-18, 2009.
- Twelfth International Conference on Rough Sets,
Fuzzy Sets, Data Mining and Granular Computing
RSFDGrC'2009, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi,
India. December 16-18, 2009.
(Held in conjunction with the Third
International Conference on Pattern Recognition and
Machine Intelligence (PReMI'09))
It is hoped that these multiple events will help
rough set researchers to attend an event based on
their temporal and spatial convenience. You can see a geographical
representation of this page by clicking here. We
hope to prepare a joint proceedings in the form of an
edited book that will be published by Springer.
